Infinite...Resistance

By SolApathy

Intensity
Dependency
Fury
Rage
Doubt
Let them all out
Into this verse
Never rehearsed
My curse
Dropping words like a monsoon rain
How is it that I am sane?
Is this the bane of existence?
My infinite
Resistance
to reality
Plurality of my souls in which I live
The folds of the universe entwined
Cut them with a knife
Unbind
Rewind to the days before the pills
Put me on this
Window sill
Screaming into the sky
Dropping
Perhaps I can
…Fly

  • A former member wrote: I really like how this starts out as an artistic blitz of dark words, then ends with an almost silent plea for your old life to be returned to you. The memories of my pre-addiction/recovery life always shine like candles in the blackness of night, and it saddens me, but at the same time puts a smile on my face. The fact that you wrote this in two minutes is a testament to your skills. Be very proud of yourself, baby. Queen Reb:).
