...Esoteric memories
By SolApathy
Break on those we know In the Caliginous
night
Hoping they will be there in this fight
I know it’s not right to draw you in
Exposing you to the darkness within
Esoteric memories that shouldn’t be
Still they haunt
Me…
I take you on my journey
Secure in the knowledge you’ll leave me
Everyone loves the physical & mystical
In the memory of the moment
We all know that’ll pass as the stars in your eyes die down
Once you see the battle within my soul
You will leave
Swift as a hurricane's breeze
Like all the others you can’t handle the damage within
(these are my sins)
Caliginous corners of my soul
You run for the door
Never do I blame
But I know
You are all
…The same
If only I could find just one who accepted
...My pain
Hoping they will be there in this fight
I know it’s not right to draw you in
Exposing you to the darkness within
Esoteric memories that shouldn’t be
Still they haunt
Me…
I take you on my journey
Secure in the knowledge you’ll leave me
Everyone loves the physical & mystical
In the memory of the moment
We all know that’ll pass as the stars in your eyes die down
Once you see the battle within my soul
You will leave
Swift as a hurricane's breeze
Like all the others you can’t handle the damage within
(these are my sins)
Caliginous corners of my soul
You run for the door
Never do I blame
But I know
You are all
…The same
If only I could find just one who accepted
...My pain

I think that you're making a broad generalization about people. We always think that nobody else's inner pain can match our own, but we all have darkness inside of us to some degree, and it is a daily struggle. I do hope that you find that special person who can help you heal, and love you for who you truly are. Very poignant and personal, my dear Sol. Queen Reb:).
