The sound of...Taciturn

By SolApathy

In the dismal disdain
A cold winters rain
No snow;
Just a dark taciturn
Nuclear winter stirs within
Broken & dim; a chill to the skin
You touch & never felt so much
Despair
Tell me of a storybook love to soothe the pain
I’ll weave a yarn
Fearsome and strong as a wind-chills bane
Nothing can thaw a cold that is meant to forever
…Remain

I don't know if you would describe me as taciturn, but I definitely know when it's time to shut up and listen. Great material once again, darling. Queen Reb:).
