...unfurls…
By SolApathy
Pain fury & fear
It defines what we have left
Here
In this tragic abyss of memories, remiss
Tell me of a story to call this rage
You’ll find me ripping out every page
The depth of my dysfunction
Epitome of your corruption
The source of my imminent
Destruction
Soulless and ill-defined
You birthed me to commit this crime
Indifferent to my strife
You use me as your device
Inflict pain on your lover
Resentment is just, another…
Words, you whispered into my ear
Your favorite weapon -- Defined my fear
Year after year
And now we are here
Damage done
Now there is no one to blame
You realizing
Just how insane
Thinking you could control a wild animal?
I bit back upon this world
Your life
...unfurls…
It defines what we have left
Here
In this tragic abyss of memories, remiss
Tell me of a story to call this rage
You’ll find me ripping out every page
The depth of my dysfunction
Epitome of your corruption
The source of my imminent
Destruction
Soulless and ill-defined
You birthed me to commit this crime

I'm sensing a very strong "fuck you" to the world and all of it's bullshit. Everyone has their breaking point, and it looks like you have reached yours. It brings to my mind something one of my high school friends told me: "life's a bitch and then you die, so live it well and fuck the World". A very hard poem about having had enough. Queen Reb:).

Wow, you never cease to impress me, Sol. I really liked the last few lines, especially. Very deep and well written. - 10:43
