...Sight, unseen

By SolApathy

Wish you would have noticed
I wasn’t around
Was always the class clown
Always wore the smile
Never again now
I am the darkness in the corner of your dream
Sight, unseen
Tell me how I am here
How did I lose control?
I broke free of happy & I can’t remember why
My darkness hinders my ability to see
What went wrong with me…
I look to your eyes & you don’t know me anymore
Look through me like a window, unseen
I don’t belong, anymore in your
Song
The words, all gone
Music fades to black
Knowing you will never come
…back
