Ignatius (Fiery One)

By SolApathy

Blister of fire in my name
 I am the flame
I am the brittle burn in which you yearn
Turning to me for solace in this empty universe
Burning desire is nothing more than a shallow embrace
Nowhere deep enough to escape this place
Desperate to find the love to make my soul flutter
Knowing it’s impossible in this life’s clutter
Where are you now my Ignatius?
I need your fire to rekindle my soul...
Are you just a faded memory I can’t grasp?
Drifting past in my dreams
Scattering in the suffering of my screams
I’m looking for you
Knowing it will never be
My dream died when they woke
...Me
