...Dusk

In the fade of dusk
Escape the light of the day
Pour into the darkness and decay
Envelope our souls in the cloak of the veil
Day is our hell
Emotion visible like a wound
Spectrum of society
Digging into our souls
Without a grasp of understanding
Judging what they can’t comprehend
The depth of our suffering
Within
The fading ember of the day
Our emotions no longer betray
Dusk is my door
The relief of
…no more
