save yourself

By Mona

Behind that silicone smile
Is a sinister silence hidden behind
a wall of denial
Shame and violence
The wall crumbled
The keys found us home
A holy place to stay again
When the world gives in
To secrets
Of telepathy
Happy people breaking
Ruins in the making
Do we even care anymore
No one cares anymore
Behind that silicone smile
Miles and miles
miles and miles
Behind that disguise
a crooked grin
rapt with sin
Can we begin
Ever again
Nevermind
The world is blinded
By icarus' light
I'm in love with God
So bright we lit the skies like the
Radical Christ.
