Our Cloud

By Sean Mc Shane

Our sacred time does indeed have a dreaded end
but there is no sadness since We know it'll come again

when you feel me say, " I'll see you on Our Cloud "
it flows on a mystic melody from my heart so loud

I mean what I say, so I make sure I say it every night
if I don't, then sleep is just sleep that never feels right

those simple words take us back to where we're truly from
Our Cloud is not just a cloud, it is Our Eternal Kingdom

a world of beauty and romance, a dreamland shining bright
where all is pure and precious in the deep dawn of night

surrounded by starlight scapes, oceans of the unknown
countless wonders of creation that have never been shown

where death is a fading idea, where dark energy cannot exist
where everything is as it should be, with nothing to resist

a realm that would be shaded, shallow and an awful bore
if I couldn't share it all with the One I so adore

That's why I never fall asleep, I gently glide in like a dove
riding the astral winds that carry me to my one true love

so til next time when I say, " I'll see you on Our Cloud soon "
set sail for that celestial heaven that floats below Our Moon

Such beauty in each word, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the thoughts fluttering in my head. I love the ending feeling you left me with; which is... giggly, comfortable and peacefully sound. Great piece, period. Scholar
