It seems like we're all terminal
Fated for things that destroy
Our lives are no longer our own
Our voices aren't always heard
Our cares tend to obliterate us
Our dreams no longer come true
When we're awake, we're half-asleep
When we're asleep, we're closer to death
Why must it all be so terminal?
