The Sorcerer

By megaprime81

Sorcerers cast their spells
Simple words, as mine
Haunted souls crying out
Wanting to steal
What it is they lack
And will never possess

Offering defense against demons
Who seek to tear us down
As the angels protect us
We seek that witch we find

Crawling into madness
Getting serious hope
Fleeting, ever defeating
False love, lies, and scope

Pain and misery
Cast a spell on me
Breaking my back
As I strain under the burden
Of all their requests and desires
