Sleepless Night (inspired by Haunted)

Sleepless night
Can't rest my head
Too much caffeine?
Something else instead?

I long to dream tonight
But rest won't find me
I need a break from myself
I need a break from life

I need a tender embrace
And a friendly face
I don't always know
What to do
But when i find a wife,
I will always be true

36 and single,
Better believe that's hard
But i know i'll be all right
Some day, for now i'm scarred

But i'm trudging up a hill
A place i've never known
A place i'd like to see
Without a heart that 's
Made of stone
Anywhere it takes me
Don't wanna be alone
