Love, Sex, & Punk Rock

By Quietus

I want you to touch me.

Put on the Ramones,

Maybe some Patti Smith.

I want you to make love

To my aching heart,

Connect with my aching soul.

Just me & you,

And the music.

Our bodies entwined.

I want to feel loved,

Even if you don’t love me.

It’s okay to pretend.

And after we’ve collided,

Like stars in the sky,

I’ll sing to you.

With my hand in yours,

Our bodies touching,

Hearts beating as one.

Our breathing will slow,

And mingle as I sing along:

“She is benediction
She is addicted to thee
She is the root connection
She is connecting with he”"

Song lyrics at the end: Dancing Barefoot by Patti Smith. Great song.
