I hope you don't care

By Deathkitten

Come out
Come out
wherever you are
I don't have to see you
to know you're not far
You're always hovering
or is it me?
Ooh, tons of questions
Hmm...ya got me!
I feel your touch
you chill me to the bone
Although I don't mind
You don't have to leave me alone
I feel your cold, blank stare
An awkward moment
I can't compare
but I know you're there
Whether you ever notice
Whether I decide to share
I hope you don't care

I read it because I liked the title...I hope that too very often, only I am the ghost myself usually.Sometimes I think we all might be.

Basically, with two jobs taking up the majority of my days, my computer time is limited to about an hour in the mornings. Sometimes less. I've decided to share that time by coming here to support the poets and leaving a few comments. I wish I could read everything, but time just doesn't allow for it. I truly hope that no one gets offended if I don't leave a comment. It's not at all that I don't care. Anyways, I really like the playful tone of your piece. Nicely done.

Thank you! I don't take offense to poets on DP not commenting or being on. Everyone has a life outside of this. One may think I am playing peek-a-boo, but I never stay on for hours. I kinda just login & out to read, or post comments on things I like & go. Same with FB. Well, i'm on here more than Facebook. Used to be the other way around. I just find it more interesting here. Thanks for commenting!
