Mr. Renegade

By HeadpatSlut

Hey there Mister Renegade, where you off to tonight?
Hit up the favorite haunt to spark a fire, start a fight-
Ride the road and blaze away this earth, because you know that you're right-
Deadly wheels, nitroglycerine, wrapped in Duct Tape with C4-
The Fuse burns down so it can ignite, what else are you waiting for?
Keep on riding down the highway, can't get enough know you need more-
And when the world all come crashing down, your home in Hell is number 624-

The Writers observe and the Riders throw down-
The front page headlines will read The Mob rules in this town
Go down, the Crown in shining as Kings cry and frown and the sound-
The sound of gunfire in the shadows,
We knew the cost and we lost out on life, so Mister Renegade, what do you say?
What do you say you know, of this world that we once knew-
When the castles all come crashing down, the only real warrior we have left is You!
So Mister Renegade Ride On-

Author's Note:

Tried to see what I could do without solid structure, sort of complex/progressive kind of thing, this is an experiement from awhile back, I think it'd make a better song than it does a poem.
