Little girl
By Deathkitten
Little girl stand your ground,
Don't let them know what you found,
Broken, scorned, misunderstood & abused,
A brain scattered & soul misused,
Little girl wore a frown,
She kept it in each & every town,
Fighting to live & searching for love,
It's hard to find in a life so rough,
Little girl keep your dress down,
Perverts corrupt you when no one's around,
Little girl grow up fast for me,
She's too young for slavery,
Little girl fly fly fly away,
She still awaits the light of day.

A strong will shines through this poem, and a stubbornness to never give in.

Very powerful poem you have here! It hits real close to home for me, too. Seems like I could be that very child, broken and wanting nothing more but love and happiness that never came. Wonderful job! Welcome to DP, I hope you have a nice long stay with us :)
