Bright White Man
By Deathkitten
Do not speak against the sun,
The time has now come for fun,
One who inherits the bright white mind,
Remember each turn unto your find,
Do you conquer yourself?
Is it everyone else?
Absolute power,
He stood in his tower,
Dropping a penny to land,
Last grain 3,000th sand,
Slither down the rope,
Make your noose of hope,
Bow your head bright white man,
He who also-ran.

A large inheritance of pride and arrogance, along with a holier than though complex. Ehehe quite amusing I must say, clever, very clever.

That's white man's burden I guess, though I have always been poor so I feel much more like the penny and the grain of sand lost on the white hot beach.

I like poetry with a meaning that only the writer knows. As a reader it invokes me to read deeper for the meaning. 10/10

The last four lines blew me away. Very clever; startlingly so.
