Alley Cat Habits
By Maladroit
These
alley cat habits
that
override my sensiblity
will
be my death.
Dress me fancy,
for
I have died
doing
everything dreamers dreamed
and
what stale lovers
lost.
Though,
I always hoped
upon
something more noteworthy.
-Headlined-
"local girl dies
while
feeding lions lies
and
extracting the burdens
from
the aimless ants."
..... but, is that
not
what I have done?
If not for
others,
but for myself?
Graves
can be warm
when
fools justify foolishness.

You strike me as an interesting person :) I relate to the feeding lions and removing burdens of ants, the two extremes are something that frequent my life a lot and it emphasizes how many things are worth doing. ~Ash

I like your poem, it has some very effective lines in it. Also, I don’t know if u care, but I have accidentally noticed that the word “sensiblity†is missing one of its bones.
