My Melodramas - The Reoccuring Dream Part Two

By Midnight Phoenix

Stealing from my light
So I see only shadows
Blankets of foresight
My melodramas

Strangled by insight
Crying so hard I can’t breath
Absent of delight
Internal screams

They say I’m dying
But they don’t know the cause
They say I’m dying
It’s ok, it’s natural
There’s no time for crying
No time for commiseration
Soon I’ll be flying
It’s ok, it’s natural

Awaking from a dream
About to see the ending
A future memory
Inexistent goodbye

Nothing as it seems
Whirling through madness
Reoccurring dreams
Who can stop this

They say I’m dying
But they don’t know the cause
They say I’m dying
It’s ok, it’s natural
There’s no time for crying
No time for commiseration
Soon I’ll be flying
It’s ok, it’s natural

i like the concept of death as a natural state and flying afterwards as a beautiful scene...there's a hidden truth beyond this...it's an intresting poem...includes so much meaning to it.

    I've been having this reoccurring dream where I drown, but I haven't gotten to the part where I die. Maybe this poem helps my "dream cells" get me there! I loved the poem anyhow! {dia}
