Closer

By Legions Slave

Today is my birthday
Today I am one year closer to death
One year closer to being buried six foot under
One year closer to just being another headstone in the graveyard
Another year living
Another year to make mistakes
Still I am closer to becoming a corpse
Closer to decaying
Closer to becoming a skeleton
Closer to becoming dust
A faded memory
Nothing more

Happy birthday you. Long time no see.. Hope all is well.I know how you feel and why it comes out this way.. You know I know you only come by once in a while and is always good to see ya but it would also be nice for you to visit us when you dont just need to release.. its a barder system.. feel me and i will feel you.. tonight before you go to sleep as your laying there with the lights out or dim close your eyes and visualize a female in hills and something small crawling across your floor to get to you.. write about it and come post it for me so i can get off on your birthday too.. Sounds pretty hopeless but I'm sure there is something to look forward to, or should be. "Tomorrow is the first day in the rest of your life" (anon) - cheers and well done!
