Path to self-destruction

By Frater Synth

Thoughts,
lay in wait

As the words of another,
Weaken barricaded memories

Collapsing,
under the weight of fear

Wandering aimlessly,
along the darkened path that lay ahead

Welled up tears,
fall to the earth

Invisible,
to all but one.

Turning to look back,
threw the tangled wood

Returning to look forward to opportunity,
only to find failure

For such few words; a thousand images. Nicely done my friend. I don't write in free-style, so I can not really offer any advice as you requested in your profile my friend. Just speak from the heart and let the brain censor the words & filter the ones you don't like. That's about it, keep up the good work though.
