Denial (with Frater Synth)

By Legions Slave

Deserving,
We feel we are.

Day after day we go unnoticed
we remain optimistic

To receive the second chance
We so desperately deserve

Only to be looked over and ignored.

Tossed aside like a bruised apple on a shelf,
Our hard work stained with blood sweat and tears

We strive for perfection
In a world full of imperfection

We are forced to watch as the lesser person takes our place
Our work and time wasted trying to climb the ladder of success.

Watching and waiting as sweaty Palms loosen our grip,
We tumble deep into the darkest abyss.
