Pieces Of Me

By Deviated09

The deepest desires I feel,
No one alive can understand.
They will corrupt you, entice you,
Leave you begging for more.

I must know what it is my heart yearns.
For I only feel this cloud
When you come near.
The radiant light from you,
I will walk eternally blind.

Just lead me where I must go.
You have the reins of my soul,
Treat them with dignity.

Please do not lead me unto fate.
I am not ready to leave just yet,
Nor will I ever really be.

This bliss, this eternal pleasure.
Only you have been able
To invoke this great lust.
Keep me, hold me tight.
Just don't suffocate me,
Or leave me at night.

For I will always be there
When you fall or falter,
Please be there for I,
I may not always be so strong.

With the trumpet's retort,
The wind's soothing caress,
The flute's soft chime...
You have the key to it all.

I've been on this quest for a while now
I think my journey's now ended.
I can hear the rejoicing,
I pray I made right for us.
