impassioned.
By jodeanna
Waves of passion
flow from you
like liquid.
A glimpse
in your eyes
says more than you ever could
with your tongue.
I can see the pulsing flames
that dance heatedly within you.
They threaten to devour you.
I think that, perhaps,
they would
devour me too
if you'd let them.
I could easily
become addicted
to this.
And so
I stay
away.
For
fear.
But then again,
I
couldn't stand to lose this.

You will always wonder unless you do - most people don't think too much about poetry and the stock answer usually is "that's nice". So don't get your hopes up either, cheers!

You're right. I would have always wondered "What if?" I showed it to him and he was very flattered.
