Shadow of the Rising Sun

By HeadpatSlut

Slow rises the Light of the world from behind black mountains-

Shining red against blue Pacific waves, mist rising-

Freezing cold air touches the flesh, still warmer than the world outside-

Sinking to quiet sleep I await the rise of Night.
