There's never-ever enough time, to do the things we dream,
No matter how long we all may live or stitch the longest seam.
I wish that wishing made things true, I'd have my heart's content,
With all the people that I love in a life so greatly spent.

Never would there be a tear that's cast because of pain,
Never would the stars above die in an astral rain.
We'd all have perfect picture frames, that held everything we knew,
And when we stopped to miss someone, the pages only grew.

There's so much that I want to say, but even more I want to hear,
The sound of your sweet laughter, as to ease this horrid fear.
That I am not a monster for the things that I have done,
Or all the times I never called just to see what's new & fun.

I may not know much of the world or religions that exist,
But I do believe you were a saint, that helped old hearts persist.
There's honor in the way you lived and more in how you passed,
And forever in our gracious hearts, your memory will last.

Dear Brother, there's so much to me, that makes you quite unique,
Like how we caught so many fish, with a bottle in the creek.
And even though, we'll meet again, I'll miss you now and then,
I'll need your strength to carry on, in wiping tears from off this chin.
