By Beautiful Incidental

stiletto heels click rhythmic beats on a weather beaten sidewalk cracked with deceit.
i was never primed for this existence...
masses of imperfection murdering for mutated definitions of fatal perfection.
every step i take echoes hollow emotion. unrequited.
a poem written but untold. the vibrations of guitar strings. alone.

stilettos service my disguise. the beats carry a ruse... my impervious melody.

 fallacy has institutionalized reality.
once upon a time, selfless love prevailed. happily ever after. the end.

to deconstruct a memory. rules aren't written where we should begin.
sidewalks wish to share their stories. if the incessant noise could pause.
one flower, one blade of grass that infiltrates the cracks ... they whisper. notice us.
the tales of subtle erosion that remind us. infinity is falsity.
dust to dust.

i once held time like a black onyx. selfishly. my illusion became our illusion.
time was once a chain reaction of moments. two blue eyes. two green. four hands.
just me. just you. and an eclectic soundtrack of music.

i buried that stone when they buried you.
and time transformed into restless movement.

covet a memory and it will bleed. scars are carbon copies. never the same.

every september, the autumn air signals urgency and human wantonness ensues.
but for me, a stillness. an undercurrent of silence.

as if i'm holding the embers of an ill fated epiphany as the world runs on fast forward.

you turn up the soundtrack with new additions.  the music continues...
