Orion's Cigar

By Blood Saga

We
made up words about each other
in attempts to divine
something
we couldn't quite
describe.

There are rats in my walls.

Darling, don't speak,
just close your pretty mouth and smile,
'cause it doesn't mean anything at all.

I enjoy your writing because all the poems stand out as their own pieces, yet you feel an undercurrent of the author that give them bite. enjoyed this one especially.
