Duplicitous
By SulaMoon
You’re stuck with me
Oh can’t you see
Don’t try to fight
it
I’ll only win
You’re stuck with me
Oh
can’t you see
I’m your only sin
Fucker, asshole,
stupid bitch
You don’t want to lose control
Weakling, coward,
idiot
Just let my mind take hold
You think your brain
is owned by you
While voices fill your head
But reality has
just set in
And now your full of dread
I will have
hold of you
I will take control
I will take over you
I will own your soul
Come on and admit it
And let
me take a ride
You know there’s something wrong with you
From me you cannot hide
I’ve already made you do some
things
That you are not proud of
You can try to fight me
But harder will I shove
I’m starting to have a hold
of you
Starting to take control
Starting to take over you
Starting to own your soul
I know that you are rundown
Now sit back and relax
Why don’t you just calm down
Don’t
fight my attacks
There we go now, I can see
All you
did was lose control
You let me in, you let me be
Now I
have taken hold
You let me have a hold of you
You let
me take control
You let me take over you
You let me own
your soul
Now that I control you
Your mind fits like
a glove
Now that I am you
You cannot rise above
I’ve
settled in quite nicely
Now shut up and sit back
Your voice
is getting quieter
Thanks for giving in to my attacks
I have a hold of you
I have control
I have taken over you
Now I own your soul
You’re stuck with me
Oh can’t
you see
Don’t try to fight it
I’ll only win
You’re stuck with me
Oh can’t you see
I’m your one
true sin

You know this could be a reference to multiple things as you mentioned schizophenia, something that I would never have guessed. upon reading this piece I was thinking about drugs more so and the hold it has on its victims, it was only when I got near the end of this read I started to think otherwise in the sence of messed up individuals or mental illnesses in this case. This definately makes for an intriguing discussion, raises many questions and concerns good job here. Thank you so much for sharing =)

It's funny that you say that, because when I read it to a friend, he thought of his girlfriend, and my mother thought of my dad. But just like any piece of poetry or music, it's open to the individual's interpretation and how they can relate to it.
