Isolation

By Beautiful Incidental

Erosion...how I run
To a sanctuary of surrealism where nothing comes undone.

I'm inviting loneliness in - my adversary...

Sticky glue holding pieces of brokenness
that rot with untruth.

I surrender...those I will remove
with self-inflicted vindictive solitude.

Darkness is lingering - so tempting
To seek an adequate substitute,

To numb the possibility of nothingness.

This empty void won't disappear...
Metamorphosis frozen by fear.
