Golgotha

By HeadpatSlut

Golgotha

Within a landscape unannounced-
An endless plain of dust-
Where rotted trees and bones pronounced-
Machines of Gods that rust.

The dirt is fraught with Death and Rot-
A graveyard of the lost-
That which Salvation traveled not-
The Reaper hither crossed.

A Kingdom once was ruled by He-
The Empire enthroned-
A loss of true Serenity-
Now by the Darkness owned.

The wasted lifeless dying land-
A place whose soul is lame-
That which we cannot understand-
Golgotha is its name.
