Rain

By musicalsuicide

This rain is hitting the roof
Every drop in beats with my heart
I can feel the pulse throb through me

Then I realize you are not there
To sooth this aching want
and desire to feel you

So the rain continues on
and I watch it fall
And I am utterly alone

Sometimes it's hard to tell where the rain stops and the tears start. The longing and emptiness flowed freely. Excellent write, Angel. Scholar

Captured these feelings well. Had me imagining sitting at a bay window vacantly watching the world with only your loneliness to keep you company. Sadly written.
