Breakfast with ebony

By Musik2MyEyes

Four members online...one hidden from view
Thought I'd venture a chat...maybe this was my cue.

Just something simple...throw out a line
See if who's hidden...is my occasional find.

Went off to read...kept an eye on the chat
When words did appear...like the purr of a cat.

We had a nice talk...even coffee she made
Giggles and blushes...hate some moments to fade.

Sweet java and more...a bagel she did offer
What a pleasant surprise...I stuffed in my coffer.

The breakfast was filling...with words I found tasty
Hated to leave...but my exit was hasty.

Brief...unexpected...a meeting of chance
Started my day...like good music to dance.

In my opinion...she's class...not an act
Well versed...not rehearsed...gift of tact.

I enjoyed having breakfast...just us girls, no signore
True delight, ray of light...Ebonyamore...
A rare fiore.

Author's Note:

The "usual find" is Ainsof in the morning. I doubt if I go into the chat any more often than I did before...but I enjoyed those few minutes. Just wanted her to know brief encounters leave lasting impressions =)

Talent I tell you, ...talent. Very clever indeed! Just keep me in mind for next time, I've been known to make a pretty mean eggs Benedict...

that's twice in one day you've left me nearly speechless. this was utterly unexpected and so very lovely. the charm of your words is surpassed only by the grace of the author and I feel awed at such a tribute. Thank you so very much!
