Swallow Free Apology

By freudian-slip

I have given nothing of real importance
and there is nothing more

right at this moment

in your field of vision

than word vomit

All of these inadequacies
that are only mine

I wish to push under the covers

right along with what is left of me

and every empty promise

yet I see the tear stinging-
glimmer of hope
in the eyes of another
as they steal the air from their lover's kiss

and I only wish

as I always have

and always will

for the compassionate gift
of your forgiveness

As long as it's heartfelt, pure, im sure whoever will have no problems giving whatever it is you need to hear. Glad to see you are ok (I can't say that enough) and writing again. C'mon people! Give credit when credits due!
