whispers of a dying rose

By zanewill

even abstract entities do
crouch in time's corrupted
corridors
sniffing succulent secrets
seeping from the minds of
men
maternal lamentations
sceeching towards the
godless heavens
only to impart the pure
panic & terror
resting
constricting a
mother's heart

in the violet dead of
night
violence departs on
wings fo angels
no longer earthbound
free from absolutes &
poesure aggendas

dried raspy whispers
chase reluctant reason
not met in dreams
into the dawn of
treason
remembering in death
we walk alone
at the appointed hour
when all prayers fall
as stones between
idea & reality
between the shadow &
the beast
here lies a
transitory awareness &
power found
by few
prior to their walk with
the Reeper

imbedded in the soul's
release
torment terminated
love germinated
into the essence of a
single rose
shaken
yet
rejoicing

death is life
is breath
the rose
forgets

i really enjoyed this. i could picture it whispered in the background of a beautifully dark song. wonderfully worded.

this is awesome. my only complaint is that the title does it no justice. too bland for such a beautifully woven piece. yet another insanely great piece. *double fisted cheers*
