Affinity's Delight

By Drayvinio

a thousand miles from you
fondness warms my heart
on this rose-colored day
grasping tendrils of attachments
a medley of memories distract me
jokes and laughter shared
random acts of kindness
through rants and sadness
averted emotional breakdowns
obscure secrets whispered
a lasting kinship cemented
I wish you affinity's delight
