oscillating like the northern atlantic winds

By totaltrip

smoke fading up to the sky
ashes consumed down to the ground
always an outward smiling disposition
a constant inward sullen adversity
an unwaivering devotion to him
a full awareness of the solitude
hope lost somewhere along that lull
between what dreams are made of right before drifting off to sleep
and the reality of it when awake

familiar images and all too familiar feel... elegantly expressed... it was painful but done with a softer edge... well done
