Take and Eat

By Kaleidoscope_Heart

Fall of man
From naïve grace
“ Take and eat
In remembrance of me”

In popular demand
A holy land
Without face
As the wingless wasp got down on his knees
(In remembrance of thee)

“Take and eat all but the fruit
From the wise tree”

Ah
But temptation devoured the darling Eve
Whilst Adam fornicated in the fields
A beast in dire need
A serpent
“ Take and eat”

Twas not woman nor apple that man may fall from grace
But the means to create such a decadent race.

A living mockery of the creator’s face.

Ah... yes, decadent races... is there any other way to live? This lovely piece is the only answer I'd ever want.
