  • "That's the placebo effect in reverse, I guess. The power of mind it's limitless, you can do pratically anything if you believe, for good or bad. Unfortunately, many know this (like me) but that's not enough for me to do anything about it and use as an advantage lol"

  • "Two thoughts: 1). this is what happens when you're society is dedicated to the welfare state, and 2). It's not what you own into the future, it's what you can hold onto. Cheers Vince!"

  • "Sounds to me like when a sick person goes online to look up an illness, and after about an hour they find out that they have to symptoms of so many things they never even heard about before - so the obsessing begins, and the worry, enough to make you crazy!"

  • "I am very sorry for your loss, when this happened, I was too young to remember any of it and I was numbed with coma as well, so I don't have feelings for him, but it's always a tragedy, what would it be if he was alive?! Sometimes I wonder... Death is always a ghastly business"

  • "Being a scared teenager makes part of the process, and yes, sometimes we would make things differently if we could, but maybe if we would, then we would also lose somethings that came along with those apparently bad choices"

  • "Maybe it's easier for those who accept death, but I really can't accept that. Going instead of a loved one seems also a good way to go. But no one should lose someone who loves so dearly"

  • "Bambi was killed...and really we weren't that close ever...she was about 20 something years older and with her mental problems we usually never meshed....but I remember just breaking down when I heard about it...like I couldn't breath. I cried harder for a sister that I barely knew than my Nana who for all purposes raised me...yet Nana was my "banshee""

Sometimes i wish i had spoken up about feelings to someone and not been the scared teenager, and sometimes i wish i had been the brave adult who said F you to everybody who had a negative word to say about another somebody I cared for...however if I had I wouldn't have the precious daughter I have now I wouldn't give her up for the world."

Awesome though."

  • "I as well don't see death as something people should just surrender too. You know the saying the only thing people have to do "are pay taxes and die" well unless your Cher then everybody thinks she'll be around after cockroaches die...sorry my train got derailed for a second. As I was saying, the only time that I believe that I would gladly welcome death is if it would mean saving the life of my child, even then I would fight like hell to stay because I love her and I know she still needs me."

  • "There are a lot of jobs that many people give a bad look to those that do it, but these lesser jobs are the machine that makes the world function properly, and I wanted to create a metaphoric world where none of this would exist, to make people think. "

  • "nice poem with great visuals. it's like i'm holding the gun. just my opinion but the end could use some touching up ( it lacks flow ). after reading this I was inspired to write my own experiences with death. unfortunately my poem dose not have great visuals like this one. Great piece of work here. thank you for sharing. "
