- "Poetry, a lifeline sustaining those even in the deepest coma. The pen being a syringe, abating certain agony, if only temporarily. Whatever well you draw water from, I hope it never runs dry. Write onward."

- "This seems like a depressing poem, at first. I've seen some great work from you...you're one of the best...but this is the strongest ending to a poem I've seen in some time...kinda gives me the chills...well done, man! Write onward & don't ever stop. The cure for my depression, that's for certain."

- "dreams that are more like reality scare me. give me werewolves and vampires anyday. when I was little though, it was the triangle men. they'd hover around my bed, and I couldn't move or scream. those would scare me, even today."

- "the real fear for us for our children of course, is them becoming exposed to a world we have no control over....potential threats like rapists, killers, sociopaths, moralless beings...muggers and much worse. These are the stuff true nightmares are made of; not Hollywood or other such media...."

- "my fear came from the unknown too...and being exposed to the movie 'Halloween' aged 10 - convinced Michael Myers was going to be in my wardrobe or under the bed that night! Very afraid to sleep that night!! Psychology is the key...imprinting a thought in your mind; that can't be shaken off. No one can live their lives without fear....the imagination of everyone is different but in mine I was able to turn the tables....what fears possessed me or were felt by me were expressed in my writing and attempts to exorcise that way. Well conjured, I can 'relate' to this poem as people would say; most definitely. Bravo mate..."

- "I was never taught fear as a child and don't plan on teaching it to my own. I've seen many other people loaded up with fear and thank my parents for helping me think outside that box. Fear in paranormal and such is just a waste of thought as far as im concerned."

- "I used to leap on the bed from about 6 feet away so the monster underneath couldn't grab my ankles...and I was afraid of that priest in the flapping black clothes...ranting and condemning and frothing at the mouth...but he was real...good one Malcholm..."

- "Ah urban legends, from werewolves, to vampires, tho the bogeyman, always a new creature lurking in the dark. Another monstrous life lesson looking for a midnight snack. These stories either taught children to behave, or look over their shoulders for the rest of their lives lol. Another well crafted piece, write on."
