Dictation of the heretic

By ANGELSLAYER

The laws of man
Dominate this land
While the shadow of faith
Drives your lives

The text of the tome of Christ
Redeems you from the fires
Murder,idolotry,blasphemy
All are forgiven with just a sigh

Textured words
Given in the blink of an eye

The holy writ
Of your sanctimonious filth
Allows you to declare war on
Condemn
What you will not try to understand

So bow down
To the blasted icons
Of your feeble minds

Try to make some sense
Of your contradictions
You still deny

Derelict in your duties
You try to stand resolute
Absolute
You've been herded
Destitute

A savior not of flesh and blood
you pay tribute
With only your tongue

Moral corruption is the norm
In this form
You've been reborn

Hail MONEY
Full of grace
Go ahead and try
To rise within the ranks

Social status
Will put you in your place
A stagnant pool
Where all hope is murdered

I liked the Chaos in this piece, truly the majority of followers use faith as a means to achieve their own crooked ends, one reason this world is so fucked up, nice write, I give this a Ten. Scholar
