Starless Oblivion

By DarkestOnyx

crushed by a glimpse
of starless
oblivion
the tortured spirit
seeks solace
in other
ruined souls

gaping wounds
wrought by unopened
minds and
unpurged thoughts
fester in the outer shell
of a mutilated
walled in heart

cool moon
watches unfazed
as human dramas
unfold under
night sky's chilled
starry vigil

a lot of heaviness achieved in a smaller piece... the feel unmistakable yet it besides it weight it had a quietness to it that made it impact even more... well done

This brings a nice landscape to my mind, albeit one of universal apathy, which is the way things actually work. Great job, this was wonderful
