Muse

By jack paper

I believe!

My sun shines because of You
You in turn soak up the praise
That I rain down upon You
In so very many ways

You fire my existence
Quench my deep thirst
You've come to me at last
I want to make you first

My words fall down around You
You gladly play Your part
And gather each unto Your breast
Hold them near Your heart

So If you leave I'm nothing
And all is of no use
What's the sky without the sun?
A poet without his muse?
