Shallow Guys Make Me Puke

By l mo

"…I thought you said you loved me.
I thought you said you cared..."

How could you do this to me? It was so heartless and cruel.
You need to think before you act.

"…I gave you a second chance,
And a third, and now a fourth..."

Why do I keep going out with you? Am I just an idiot? Why should I care about you when you treat me like crap?

"…I loved you with my life,
But it seems you don't love me back..."

I gave my heart and soul to you, but you didn't care, was I just a trophy to you or something?

"…Why don't you love me? What did I do wrong?
Did I do something to hurt you?..."

Are you mad at me? Why won't you just tell me what's wrong?

“…If you can’t tell me what’s wrong,
Then how do you expect me to trust you when I need you the most?…”

Please, tell me what’s wrong. What did I do?

“…Maybe I’m just not good enough for you,
I’m sorry I can’t the perfect girlfriend…”

Is it that I’m too fat, too ugly? Which one? …Or is it both? Are looks all that matter to you?

“…I’m sorry that I’m not skinny enough, and that my hair isn’t blonde enough,
But I’m not going to change myself just to be with you…”

I won’t change for you, the only person that I’ll change for is me, and that’s it. So if you don’t like me how I am now, then you can just leave. If you’re that shallow that you can only have a girlfriend who’s beautiful beyond belief then I’m booking it. No questions about it.

“…I may not be perfect,
But at least I know what matters most and know who I am.”

My name is Lisa. I know exactly who I am and what my morals are.
And I don’t need a guy to feel happy about myself.
