Defy my Master (this puppet has cut his strings)

By Thorn

"I'm done with this game"

These words said, and I am free

Free from the grip of a subtle puppet master

Pulling strings from behind a pretty face

I am my own person
No one can bind me
I am a free spirit
I'll do what I please

Words cannot harm me

I know what I am
I know where I stand

Say what you will
I will not be moved
I know what I want
To that, I'll stay true

No more "Please forgive me."
No more "Master, may I?"
No more chains and cages

This bird

Has got

To fly

No more double-standards
No more clipped wings
No more submission

This puppet

Has cut

His strings

Incredible, the power and strength that rised into the ending. As the world falls apart for you to newly discover everything beautiful. Kind of the feel I got from this ~Gothic

That is fucking great. You never were built for strings. I'm glad they're gone.

It's a bit rough around the edges, but I was suddenly inspired. The result: a raw expression of emotion.
