My Sweet Prince

By suicidalsecrecy

There is a scar from 26 stitches on the arm of a caring girl
She cares so much for the world but not for herself
She inflicts pain on herself to punish and hurt
She believes she belongs six feet below in the dirt
She needs to be rescued
Oh, how lovely it’d be
If her Prince Charming
Could help her to flee
This madness she feels
Will always exist
As long as she makes
Those cuts on her wrists
If Prince Charming could only carry her away
What a day it would be
Oh, what a day
Set her free from herself
And stop all this harm
And never again
Have stitches on one of two arms
