Escape

By suicidalsecrecy

Pacing the halls
Crawling the walls
Nothing to do
And I’ll end up like who?
You?
You’re like all the rest
So try so hard and do the best
Cannot escape from this place
With this frowning look upon my face
At a crossroads, which way to go?
Left or Right, does anyone know?
If I choose to run or fight
There I’ll be with darkness or light
Pick one fast because there is no time
Get past that crossroads
And run through that line
Choose life or death
What to do?
Don’t feel secure
What would you do?
Wishing to roam
Go along the path so obscure
Fear takes hold looking for a cure
26 stitches all in one line
Lost some blood and ran out of time
Still alive and pulling through
Still want to die
What can I do?

Very nice rhyme scheme, and yet you still stay on topic. Very well done. Killer piece, too.
