Who Cares? (Well I Do!)
By A Broken Soul
There’s a big world out my front door
So what am I waiting for?
Watched many times on my T.V.
Slowly desensitizing me
People killing people left and right
While Tara Reid hosts parties at night
So much glory and honor I’ve seen
Grass synthetically colored green
And where do I fit into this
God forsaken ‘holy land’
Given responsibilities
But we don’t care until
They get out of hand
A McDonald’s on every corner
They smell freshly of processed grub
Twelve year olds having sex in a public park
Now that’s what I call ‘pre-teen’ love
Kittens and puppies treated so well
Fueled by pigs living in hell
But what do we care, there of no use to me
Rather than killing and cooking for meat
And where do I fit into this
God forsaken ‘holy land’
Given responsibilities
But we don’t care until
They get out of hand
And what was I thinking?
It’s only safe inside these walls
This world is such a huge place
And my opinions aren’t worth much at all
Who cares about the animals?
Trapped in likes of slavery
Who cares about our nations faults?
Enough to point them out and see
We’re only getting worse with time
Greed consumes our lives
Materialize, monopolize
In the end we’re only loosing
And I’ll sit and watch on my T.V.
As America bursts into flames
