You were an innocent child
Carefree, bubbly, no problems in your life
Once Upon A Time...
You lived happily with you mother and father and sister
A family still together and whole
Once Upon A Time...
You were happy
And full of love and joy
But let's get back to reality...
Daddy hates you
Mama beats you
Sister doesn't care
Unloved
Unwanted
Ignored
Depressed
Suicidal
All alone is this cold-hearted world
No one to hold you
No one to comfort you
No one around
To help you find your way
Alone in the dark, cold streets
Downtown
No sense of direction
To get you home
Once Upon A Time...
You were happy and innocent and beautiful
With eyes filled with light
But now...
Your depressed and unhappy and broken
The light form your eyes has faded dull
You search for the shelter and warmth
Of a family that loves you and cares
A family you will never have
Once Upon A Time...
You lived in the light
But now your alone
Shrouded in shadows
