GlaZed!
By Black_Cherry_Doll_
Things got out of control
And I can't fix it
And I can't let go.
What do you do when you're so confused
There's no where to turn
And everything you might lose.
When you're dazed
And your thoughts are muddled,
When the look in your eyes is glassy glazed
'Cause the deeper you get
The more you can't get out.
And the motion is set
For an automatic fall.
You feel so small
When you used to stand so tall.
Things got out of control
And I can't fix it
And I can't let go.

This is something I think many of us can relate to. That self inflicted trap where you're treading water with a cinder block over your head while all of your problems and stresses gather around you and you never think to just drop that cinder block and swim back to shore, even when it's the most obvious solution. Fuck going through the maze, grab a chainsaw and carve your own path. Thanks for sharing :)

I think rhyming in poems is overrated and beaten to death. It's still really good, but if you want to, work on some different structure in the future.

Eh, bland rhyme, and so jumbled that I couldn't tell what you were trying to say at all. Work on structure, and maybe this will be decent.

normally I'm not a huge fan of the standard A-B-A rhyme scheme but it works wonderfully here- the attempt to rationalize the chaos of nonrational emotion. Good write
